I love Cosmos. It's full of wonder, and wonderful details -- for example, I noticed, looking at a depiction of atoms, that while the electrons were depicted as points, the lines they were tracing were outlining (flat versions of) electron orbitals, and so not just circles. That made me happy.

Sometimes I want to wander the Internet challenging everyone who says that science destroys wonder: that idea is one of my greatest pet peeves, and I share that peeve with greats like Feynman, so I feel vindicated in having it. As someone wise (whose name I can't recall) said, science takes us to the wonder. Cosmos is beautifully showing that.
